We were so happy to receive this letter from Rebecca at Grange Primary School in Swansea:

Dear Sue

The children are really enjoying this project;

One child has to wear her bee t-shirt every day.

We have a bee first aid kit and have rescued a few tired bees.

Sadly we couldn’t save a bee that we found had been poisoned by, we think, weedkiller, so have made posters and are sending some to Swansea Council who were spraying by the school that day.

They made their own bee hive role play area. They now really know what a hexagon is.

We will be making bee biscuits and honey cakes to sell in the school fete.

It really is a great project.
