Our last visit included the marshmallow tower challenge which was clearly a favourite amongst the class whilst also developing communication and team working ability.

Our Allscott Meads development is so much more than simply new homes. This is an entirely new community and we’re proud of our involvement in that, notably the delivery of the new primary school that opened in September 2023.

We’re already actively engaged with the staff and pupils at Allscott Meads Primary and readily share our work on-site with them. By partnering with 2B Enterprising, who we’ve worked with for the past couple of years on other projects that we’re involved in, we’re able to support the pupils with the knowledge and skills to consider a wide variety of future careers in construction.

Whilst we consider ourselves a well-established local estate agent and we already have great visibility and ‘brand awareness’ from our sales boards, it is important to us that we go further to ensure people understand how we can be of help and recognise our point of difference. We pride ourselves with the support we look to give in the local communities we work within and we are very keen to invest in the next generation.

This is an exciting programme that enables us to give back to the communities we work in, while raising awareness about the wide range of career opportunities that exist in construction. We are keen to increase diversity in our workforce and to encourage more women to consider careers in construction and this programme will help us achieve that. Our team are loving their visits to the schools – they are impressed by the children’s energy and enthusiasm and the intelligent and probing questions they ask about our work. The Bumbles of Honeywood Programme, will also help the children to grow in ambition and confidence, which is a great investment in our future generations.

We are delighted to be partnering with 2B Enterprising to bring The Bumbles of Honeywood programme to primary schools and support teachers and parents in developing transferable skills in young children.

Thanks to the calibre of the programme and those who have contributed, we are confident that the programme will inspire a future generation of business leaders and build the foundations for their success.

Our Mumbles office has been a mainstay in the Village for many years and we do everything we can to support the local community, so when we were approached to help Oystermouth Primary School deliver this excellent scheme, it was an easy decision to make. I am passionate about education and the development of students, continued Charlotte, and the Bumbles of Honeywood enables the children to learn vital skills such as teamwork and communication in a fun environment.
