Mini challenge - Children challenged to create their own model of a spinning Fairground ride.

Mini challenge - To design and make a new home for the bees for when the storm is over.

Mini Challenge - Children to invent a way to help patients remember to take their medicine at the right times.

Work in groups of 5. Only the rubber band can touch or move the cups. If the directions for each challenge are not followed correctly, groups will have to restart that challenge. Check each challenge has been completed correctly before moving on to the next.

For this activity, a coloured dot will be placed on everyone’s forehead. When the game begins, each person needs to find everyone else with the same-coloured dot and go to the area with the matching-coloured card and form a ‘team’ This must be done without speaking. 

Print off the images of creatures and place them around the table. Use the creatures with the places print off to match the creatures to their correct habitat.

Tell the children that we are going to look at how businesses advertise. Introduce logos and branding to the children and encourage them to design their own logos for their smoothies.

Challenge the children to identify each of the logos. Encourage the children discuss what is good about each of them and what makes them memorable.
