Bertie Bumble has shown himself to be a brave, confident and resilient member of the Honeywood community which Queen Beeatrice recognises. She is so proud of him that she asked him to become a professor of Science at Honeywood University Bertie can’t quite believe it and he wonders if he is good enough to take on this very important job. He seeks advice from his Aunt Betty in the hope that she can relieve his self-doubt. Will Bertie believe in himself and have the confidence to take on this important job?

Introduce the children to the words 'brave' and 'courageous'. Use the activities to encourage the children to be brave and confident. Encourage them to create poems and reflect on the times they have been brave and courageous.

Betsy is a very creative bee who loves to solve problems and help her creature friends in Honeywood. One day she spots her good friend Big G the grasshopper sitting under an apple tree looking very sad. Betsy realises he has a problem which she may be able to help him solve, so she works hard to come up with an invention that could help him. Will she be able to put a smile back on Big G’s face?
