Who are 2B Enterprising?
Based at Honeywood HQ in Swansea, 2B Enterprising inspires the next generation of ambitious, healthy, enterprising and informed citizens. We raise the aspirations of young people whilst introducing them to valuable life experiences and key skills. The resources and workshops are generously funded by Business Partners across Wales & the UK who are equally looking to make a difference in their communities.
What is ‘The Bumbles of Honeywood’?
We’ve written a series of creative and thought-provoking books entitled ‘The Bumbles of Honeywood.’
These stories transport our young readers into the enterprising world of the Bumble Family, along with their bumble bee friends and critters, sharing valuable lessons, learned through their journeys and challenges within their home town of Honeywood. The themes covered in the workshops include key skills in line with education curriculum, including sustainability, wellbeing, inclusion and diversity.
These storybooks are accompanied by physical and digital resources for primary school teachers to support the development of enterprise skills in the classroom, all funded by Business Partners across the UK.
Duties:
- Deliver workshop sessions into Primary Schools across Wales by reading stories from our Bumbles of Honeywood programme in a fun and exciting way, followed by engaging in an informative exciting activity session to reflect the story (Approximately 45 minutes per session to classes up to 40 children) On-site training will be provided.
- Understand and familiarise yourself with the Business Partner who is attending the school, champion on their behalf and make introductions to both business and school to help encourage their partnership.
- Display effective classroom management within a range of learning abilities.
- Communicate with the school after the session to arrange further workshop sessions and discuss any questions, ideas or feedback (This is done verbally and via a post activity feedback form)
- Manage your own diary by booking in the next school visits and communicating with Honeywood HQ team.
- Ability to visit Honeywood HQ frequently to collect and replenish your resources.
- Willingness to travel between schools to undertake multiple workshops per day.
- Positively represent 2B Enterprising in the schools in a professional manner.
- Attend any training meetings, normally quarterly out of term time, at Honeywood HQ.
Qualifications and experience:
What we are looking for:
- Teaching qualification and/or recent experience working with young children.
- Any relevant classroom experience.
- Welsh speaking Essential
- Full UK driver licence (insurance for business purposes necessary), with willingness to travel between numerous schools and lead multiple workshops per day.
- Passion for working with young children and able to see the benefit of enterprise education.
- An outstanding work ethic with the natural ability to coach, inspire and educate.
Location
You will be home based, travelling to schools across Wales, with occasional workshops in the UK for Welsh Schools in London. There will be an occasional requirement to travel to Honeywood HQ in Swansea for team meetings.
Desirable Personal Qualities
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious individual to join our small team. We welcome a positive ‘can do’ attitude, someone who is passionate about their work.
We are looking for a reliable team player who can be flexible to fit in with workshops and travel. Someone who has excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks and will thrive in a fast-moving environment with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
As part of our Education team, we are looking for someone who is confident leading workshops with children aged 5-9 and engaging with primary schools and teaching staff.
As we begin to scale and engage with more schools, we need someone who is reliable, organised, and punctual, who can deliver one of the most valuable parts of our programme.

Interview Arrangements
If successful, you will initially be invited to interview at Head Office (Swansea), please have available proof of ID and any relevant certificates. An up-to-date DBS Check will be required to deliver on behalf of 2B Enterprising Ltd, but staff will never be left alone with a class (teachers/TAs are required to be present during the delivery session).
